Easy online file conversion, storage, and sharing: Zamzar and MediaFire

Zamzar asks:
Have you ever wanted to convert files without the need to download software?
Heck, yes! I routinely need to convert a .doc to a PDF, a .gif to a .jpg, or an .avi to an .mpg.
Zamzar supports conversion between a wide variety of different file formats.
Awesome! There’s a list here of the kinds of format conversions Zamzar can perform.
The next obvious question is what restrictions on size of files Zamzar enforces.
Currently you can upload a maximum of 100MB of data split between up to 5 different files. This is continually under review, so please check back for changes.
That could be sort of restrictive for video files (which tend to be very large), but this is a great start to a potentially very useful service.
(Media-Convert provides similar transcoding services for media files, but has an even lower size restriction: 50MB only)
Okay, I’ve converted my files, but some are too large to email conveniently.
No problem. Upload ‘em to MediaFire.

Is it easy to use?
Yep.
How easy?
So easy that I’m not even including instructions in this post. Just go and try it. Upload a file and it gives you a link you can email to whoever needs to download it.
What are the file size limits?
There aren’t any.
Seriously?
Seriously.
