I don't want to speak for Dr. MacCall, but I know he reads your blog because he recommended it to me. And, I have my MLIS from the UA and Dr. MacCall was one of my instructors there at the time. Now that I am working, he continues to be my instructor. I think he is a tremendous addition to the faculty at UA's SLIS. I actually appreciate what you both do. So, thank you.

Hi Pam!

I haven't ever met or spoken with Dr. MacCall, and don't know if he reads this blog- any chance you'd talk him into it on behalf of distant MLIS students everywhere? ;)

I keep hearing good things about Dr. MacCall from both students and colleagues- and he is clearly putting a high priority on familiarity with new technologies. It seems to me that y'all are very fortunate to have him.

I'm not joking when I say I'm jealous. I'd love to study with a tech-savvy medical librarian.

I'm currently in my 3rd course with Dr. MacCall (Metadata). His ppt presentations are great. Maybe you can talk him into sharing a few more of them.
