		<description>There many commercial and open source tools in that URL. I guess you can store, annotate and manage PDFs as far as the databases have many fields. 

I have try the demo and I prefer Refbase, I think it has more applications than Librarian. Take a look at the Refbase http://refbase.sourceforge.net/ or at my personal refbase.

A friend from my University has developed Bibciter http://bibciter.sourceforge.net/. It works very well too. http://ictlogy.net/bibciter/</description>
